Back from the AI Summit and Irish Tech Week New York

In October we joined Enterprise Ireland at the International AI Summit in Dublin, then presented Narrative at Nasdaq with the Irish Tech Week New York 2026 cohort.

Earlier this month we wrote that October would take us to two events. Both have now taken place, and we are grateful to everyone who made them possible.

The International AI Summit, 14 October

We spent the day on Enterprise Ireland’s stand at the summit in the RDS, Dublin. The same day, Enterprise Ireland launched the Startup Ireland AI Accelerator Programme, the first specialist accelerator under Startup Ireland’s National Accelerator Programme.

Irish Tech Week New York, 19 and 20 October

On 19 October I presented Narrative at Nasdaq as part of the Irish Tech Week 2026 cohort. Presenting in that building was not among my plans for 2026, and it was a privilege to be there.

I cannot remember an event that packed so much useful knowledge into two days. The talks balanced the challenges of expanding into the US with the opportunities, and the founders who spoke were open about their failures and how they overcame them, as well as their successes.

We went to New York to understand what it would take to serve US banks and their small business customers, and we came home with a clear sense of the next steps.

Thank you

Digital Irish is run largely by volunteers who have spent years connecting people with Irish roots across the US, and who welcome a new group of Irish startups each year. Our thanks to them for the preparation sessions and the week itself, and to the Enterprise Ireland teams in Dublin and New York for their connections and their welcome.

Talk to us about your small business customers.

We’ll show you Narrative Coach and talk through how it could work for your institution.
